To avoid delays in processing your request, be as specific as possible regarding the records you are requesting. If a request is vague or overly broad, (e.g. “all documents” on a topic, “all emails” for multiple people or not including a specific timeframe). It could require an extension as well as take longer to identify and collect potentially responsive records.

Personal property that has been stored in our property room can be picked up BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Monday - Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm. To schedule an appointment call (502) 267-0503 and select Option 5 to leave a message for the Property Clerk. Leave your information and someone will contact you in order to schedule an appointment.

Any person operating a vehicle on the highways of the state who is involved in an accident resulting in any property damage exceeding five hundred dollars ($500) in which an investigation is not conducted by a law enforcement officer shall file a written report of the accident with the Department of Kentucky State Police within ten (10) days of occurrence of the accident upon forms provided by the department.
